You’ll taste pure and aged versions, learning about traditional distillation and how the unique woods of Brazil impart distinctive color, flavor, and aroma. You’ll leave with a renewed understanding of Brazil’s artisanal drinks and unforgettable memories of a true island escape. And you will have the opportunitie to bring some with you to your place and keep this memories alive for ever! Or, at least until last the bottle you take. Taste Rio’s flavors with an artisanal ice cream maker

I’m excited to welcome you to Sorvetiño, my ice cream shop in the iconic Copacabana neighborhood, where I’ll be bringing back the distinct flavors of our “Love Letter to Rio” Collection for this experience. • We’ll begin with a blind taste test of four unique carioca ice cream flavors, each inspired by a classic beverage from the city: mate with lemon, guaravita, caipirinha, and passionfruit batida. • After taking your guesses for each sample, I’ll reveal the flavors, and we’ll enjoy shots of the original drinks that inspired the frozen treats. Guests under 18 can participate, and instead of the alcoholic flavors, they will receive an extra portion of the two non-alcoholic options. At the end of the experience, you’ll choose your favorite flavor to take home with you, along with a Sorvetiño sticker and poster.

Step into the heart of Rio’s vibrant food culture, visiting a bustling organic open market and learning to cook traditional Brazilian dishes with me, the chef and owner of Trégua Cozinha. • At the market’s colorful stalls, select local ingredients like mandioca (cassava), sweet potato, and azedinha (sorrel), and almeirão (chicory)—all essential components of Brazilian cuisine. *It is important to note that the ingredients may vary depending on the time of year. • Next, head to the restaurant’s kitchen for a brief discussion on Brazilian gastronomy. You’ll learn secret tips for balancing brazilian flavors. • Follow step-by-step instructions to cook Trégua Cozinha’s signature dishes, including cebolinha com repolho (green onion with cabbage), castanha de caju (cashew nut), and chicken gravy, before savoring the meal you’ve learned, served with Brazilian maté. *the dish will follow the season. So the signature dish may change depending of the time of the year. You’ll leave with a full belly and a new appreciation for Brazilian cuisine.

Cachaça Tour Paraty/ English

The Cachaça Tour Paraty is a journey through time with cachaça as the protagonist and its importance in the history of Brazil. The walking tour through the historic center of Paraty starts in front of Matriz Church(Our Lady of Remedies) where we start visiting 5 cachaçarias where we will tell the history of cachaça since the arrival of sugar in Brazil, how cachaça is made , the right way to drink, curiosities and, of course, tasting cachaça and liqueurs in each one of them, as well as discounts on the purchase of bottles and the famous Jorge Amado drink. Paraty, which for a long time was synonymous with cachaça, is now an international gastronomic hub, so tips from the most diverse restaurants for all tastes will be presented on the tour. The aim of the cachaça tour is to bring another story of our history while enjoying all the flavors that Paraty has to offer.

In this experience, we will pick you up from your home* and take you to get to know the most important points of the city. We will begin immediately by visiting Christ the Redeemer (ticket included), to avoid queues and take the best photos; then the neighborhood of Santa Teresa, an artistic area with its exclusive tram and then the Selarón Staircase, one of Rio's most famous sights. From there we will go to the Metropolitan Cathedral, a unique building in downtown Rio. Afterwards, we visited Maracana Stadium from outside. We stop for lunch** * right after. After lunch we go to visit the Parque Lage. Parque Lage is a historic and cultural park located at the base of Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro. While it is an independent site with its own history and attractions, Parque Lage is part of the Tijuca National Park, a vast protected area that includes one of the world’s largest urban rainforests. At the end you have two options: we can take you back home or drop you off at Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf) (ticket not included), where you can take a cable car up to the top of this magnificent hill. *Pick up and drop off in some areas of Rio's south zone. Moqueca de peixe numa cozinha carioca

Faremos uma aula de culinária onde você aprenderá a fazer uma moqueca de peixe baiana - prato típico brasileiro que é peixe com molho e utilizaremos azeite de dendê, pimentão, coentro, pimenta e outros ingredientes exóticos da culinária brasileira. Antes mostrarei como fazer uma deliciosa caipirinha de limão com todos os truques brasileiros na minha casa no alto de uma rua sem saída, um cantinho especial do Rio e ao som da nossa MPB (música popular brasileira). Subiremos as escadas para o terraço com uma vista deslumbrante da Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Corcovado e montanhas e aproveitaremos o entardecer enquanto o nosso peixe estará curtindo no tempero. Descendo para a cozinha, faremos a moqueca de peixe e uma farofa (comida tradicional brasileira de origem indígena feita com farinha de mandioca). O Brasil é um país multifacetado assim como sua culinária que é cheia de sabores, cores e odores. Quando estiver pronta, jantaremos todos na sala de jantar com vinho branco ou rosé da América do Sul. O Cachaça Tour Paraty é uma viagem no tempo com a cachaça como protagonista e sua importância na história do Brasil . O tour a pé pelo centro histórico de Paraty , começa em frente a Igreja da Matriz (Nossa senhora dos Remédios) onde iniciamos a visitação a 5 cachaçarias onde vamos contar a história da cachaça desde a chegada da cana de açúcar ao brasil, como a cachaça é feita, a maneira certa de beber, envelhecimento, sua relação com a África, curiosidades e é claro fazendo degustações de cachaças e licores em cada uma  delas além de desconto nas compras e no famoso drink Jorge Amado.   Paraty que por muito tempo foi sinônimo de cachaça hoje é um  polo gastronômico internacional , então dicas dos mais diversos restaurantes para todos os paladares serão apresentados no tour.  O objetivo do cachaça tour é trazer uma outra história da nossa história ao mesmo tempo aproveitando todos os sabores que Paraty tem para oferecer.
