We’ll engage with the materials and techniques they use, and immerse ourselves in the vibrant soul of Buenos Aires’ contemporary art scene. • Next, we’ll pay a visit to the Museo de la Balanza, a museum dedicated to the history and significance of scales and weights, and the Tedesco Collection, a space for art and artifacts, housed within the same building. Once used to decorate the city’s horse carts and trucks, the art form has evolved into a cultural symbol that now influences global design and art. I’ll bring its past and present alive for you, and help you make a few strokes yourself. • I’ll welcome you to my atelier, where you’ll find a completely filleted car. I’ll discuss the fascinating history and significance of fileteado, as well as my own artistic journey. • I’ll show you a wide range of works using a variety of objects and formats, as I share stories about the connections between fileteado and tango. • Try the technique yourself, making a few strokes on metal and wood with a classic long-haired brush. You’ll leave with a deep appreciation for this vital Buenos Aires tradition, as well as my recommendations for further exploring the city’s rich arts scene.

We’ll indulge in a traditional coffee and classic porteño croissant at the beloved local Café Cora. • Next, we’ll stroll through the historically rich Bajo area, stopping at Esmeralda, one of Buenos Aires’ oldest and most beloved ice cream shops. The city’s ice cream culture is world-renowned, and we’ll dive deep into the history of Argentine gelato. • We’ll stroll to the 1938 modernist Bonet Building, where we’ll share a truly Argentine tradition: vermouth with olives at Acuario Bar. We’ll explore vermouth’s cultural significance while savoring its distinct flavors. We’ll return to Plaza San Martín and the San Martín Monument to reflect on the journey. By the end of this experience, visitors will gain a deeper appreciation for Buenos Aires’ rich heritage and for the local way of life—discovering how architecture and gastronomy come together to shape the city's unique identity.

Step into the world of bespoke hatmaking, where tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation merge to create wearable art. • Settle into the design studio ​​and learn about the philosophy behind my workshop and the rich heritage of Argentine craftsmanship. • Explore a curated selection of materials sourced from across Argentina, including raffia, tarlatan, and sheep’s wool felt, and gain insight into how these elements are crafted using traditional hat-making techniques. • I’ll be your guide as we dive into the hatmaking process—from steaming and molding raw felt, applying a hardener, and experimenting with free-form techniques, to wrapping and stitching raffia around a mold and adding details like bands and trims to make your creation one-of-a-kind. • Step out into the stylish streets of Palermo wearing a curated or custom-made hat. Back at the studio, we’ll gather for a final conversation, reflecting on the experience and discussing the role of sustainable fashion in Argentina.
