We will drive out in our vans to meet the tallest waterfall in the state, and then drive to a few of the shorter but even more stunning ones, too; falls which could only be the daughters and sons of legend. In this half-day experience, we will explore wonders with some short hikes (totaling less than 2.5 miles/4 km) and visits to overlooks and vistas that will have you gasping in awe. While Multnomah Falls and its iconic Benson Bridge are together the most-visited tourist attraction in the Portland area, they are only a part of our experience. We will meet at our shop in inner SE Portland, where we'll ride in our comfortable Sprinter and Transit vans to the nearby gorge. Depending on weather conditions, we will visit a few small hidden waterfalls and spectacular plunge-style falls whose columnar basalt has us learning words for "amazing" in other languages. We'll also tell you stories, geology, botany and oft-repeated tales of pioneers and road-builders, but also the old stories we've learned, of gods and wild spirits and about the oldest North American civilization, forever altered by “manifest destiny." OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we offer boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. PROFESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS: The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. Your safety is our main priority! All of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. PHOTOS: One of the instructors will try to take complimentary GoPro photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Immersive tea tasting in our little tea house, featuring different tabletop flower arrangements and aromatherapy every week!. There will be Chinese style tea art demonstrations and on certain holidays Guzheng ( Chinese musical instrument) performances. Guests will choose between black tea, oolong tea, yellow tea, green tea, dark tea and scented teas from China at different tea tasting times. I have been in touch with tea since I was 10 years of age and it has always been a part of my life. I am a landscape architect and an enthusiastic tea artist. After I moved to America, my partner and husband Joseph singlehandedly built the tea house for me, according to my design. Everything including the slab table was made by Joseph over a period of two years. Now I would like to share with others this tea house full of love energy and my love of Chinese tea, the etiquette of drinking tea and interesting stories of China.

We will meet on the docks of East Boston where we will tear into and slurp dozens of local oysters, harvested by our oyster farmer friends, while looking over the harbor and skyline. We will teach you how to milk a cow. *At the beginning we allow you time to spend with the animals. Petting, brushing, or just hanging out with them. *Next we take you through what we feed our animals and how we care for them. We can talk about what goes into the cleanliness of the process and getting everything ready. *We will then go through the experience of milking the cow (whether by hand or with the machine, you decide). We will cruise around Miami Beach area where we will explore the bay where you will be able to see the luxury mansions of the rich and famous who choose to spend a few weeks or live here in Miami Beach. We will then drop anchor in a little bay close to some of the most expensive houses in Miami, allowing our sailors to swim in the shallow, crystal clear waters of Miami Bay if they wish, and then return to the original meeting point enjoying the air and views from the yacht while sunbathing on the bow of the boat or relaxing with your friends over a few beers as you are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks on board. You will have a great time with us, you will make new friends and you might have the chance to see dolphins that love to swim alongside the boats. This experience brings this ancient axiom into light as participants will be lead through an explorative journey of the intimate connection between the Macrocosm-Microcosm using Astrology and Sound Healing. Take a guided horseback riding tour on our 300+ acres of private mountain trails lead by an experienced guide. After signing up and meeting the horses, we will show you the skills you need to ride through our trails. You will be accompanied by an experienced trail guide the entire time. This is a beginner friendly ride, most of the ride is walking, we go at the pace of the least experienced rider in the group. If you would like to do some more trotting, don't want to ride in a group, or are experienced, we recommend booking a private ride. The ride itself is 1 hour long and is done in a western saddle. BlissWood Forest is located in Coastal Maine one hour south of Acadia National Park. You will arrive at Corgi Bliss, in the town of Penobscot, on the edge of the forest. There you will meet your hosts, the Corgis along with Jennifer or Katie. Drinks will be offered, as well as a discussion about safety while walking with the corgis . We will set off on our journey through the fields, and into BlissWood Forest. The easy half-mile hike is well maintained and goes at a leisurely pace. The loose Corgis will be scurrying about ahead as they sniff the ground and try to pick up the scent of pixie dust. Help the Corgis find the hidden treasure chests and secret swellings along the path. We pause a lot for selfies, kisses and cuddles from the animals.
