Support original ideas and true entrepreneurship. —//— In one afternoon you can enjoy the best of Portugal’s stunning coastline, taste local Portuguese food and wine and go off-road in Sintra’s mysterious forests. Join us to watch the sun set into the sea with sand between your toes, salty hair and wine in one hand. We’ll pick you up in one of our legendary convertible jeeps and take a brief look at Sintra’s best sights and palaces before hitting our favorite forest tracks. These off-road, unmarked trails pop out at the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca. Our secret beach is a short hike away. The dirt trail twists along a steep route but it takes only 30 minutes to get down to the sand. Bring proper shoes for this part! Flip flops/thongs/jandals/foot wedgies won’t make the cut. Once we reach the soft, golden sand – just relax. We’ll set up a picnic spread of traditional Portuguese “petiscos” (our word for tapas) stacked full of cheese, chouriço (chorizo), bread and other snacks. You can swim in the salty ocean, kick a ball on the sand, or just sit back with a few glasses of local wine. You might have 99 problems, but a beach ain’t one. It can be challenging at some points. This experience is designed to make you time-travel back to the early ages of photography. You’ll have your portrait made through one of the oldest photography processes: wet plate collodion and will have the chance to experience the whole process of development. This immersive experience will be held at FIVE HISTORIC PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO, which itself is equipped with antique cameras, and furniture, alongside some literature on 19th century Photography, all for your edification. The Studio’s expertise lies in the use of 19th century photography technique Wet Plate Collodion, invented by Frederick Scott Archer in 1851. This particular technique creates unique images, reminiscent of a distant past. You will have the chance to choose the material in which the portrait will be made - clear glass or aluminium- and choose from one of 3 different sizes. Some 19th century clothes and props will be available for the portrait session. In addition to being an extremely interesting process, you will have the opportunity to follow the hosts to the laboratory/dark-room to experience/see the whole development process. Your portrait will be ready to be delivered in 60 minutes. Other things to note By default the price includes an aluminum plate in the smallest size. If the guest want a different size or material, the difference should be paid at the studio.

This is a private surf class (individual or private group). We will start with a pick up at Cascais or Carcavelos train station, or meet directly at the beach (Guincho, Carcavelos or Caparica beach). After choosing the right equipment for you, and teach you how to stand up on a board it’s time for a quick warm up and go surf! No rush, this is a PRIVATE SURF CLASS, so you will have your own time to learn and get better, wave by wave! The surf lesson will have around 1 hour of practice where you will learn how to surf with all our professional help! My goal is for this to be a super fun experience and the highlight of your entire Portugal trip! After the surf class, we will drop you back at the train station closer to the beach. All surf equipment is included, and the surf Lessons are suitable for all levels and skills: From beginners to experienced. Everyone from your group will be welcomed and will have great fun with us! Near Lisbon, in Sintra coast with his amazing beach breaks and yet not so crowded, you will have a two-hour surf lesson with one of the best certified surf instructors around, with all equipment and insurance included. You will learn how to stand up on the surfboard and ride a wave, or if you have some experience I will put you riding some great waves in the best spot around. For Sure I will do my best to provide you an amazing experience always in a fun and safe way. The surfing & BB experience lasts for 2 hours. 1-We give you the wetsuits and the boards 2-We go to the sand, do a warm up, practise the take-offs and we do a quick briefing about the boards and security, so that you improve your surfing knowledge 3- We go to the water and surf at least 1 hour Other things to note: If you don't know how to swim or if you're afraid of the waves, there's also a space for you! You'll have water at your waist/chest level and we will be catching small waves (mostly white water waves). We just do what you are comfortable with. Esta é a única aula de cozinha em Portugal onde vai aprender sobre confeitaria com um chef de pastelaria profissional, numa pastelaria a sério! NOTA: a partir de Maio teremos uma nova pastelaria no centro da cidade de LISBOA. As fotografias aqui partilhadas são da nossa pastelaria anterior e não são exatamente com o novo local, mas são muito representativas da experiência que vamos viver juntos. :) A aula começa com uma introdução à história do Pastel de Nata. Depois de se equipar, entrará na nossa cozinha profissional onde aprenderá a fazer irresistíveis Pastéis de Nata! Ao contrário de outras aulas de Pastel de Nata em Lisboa, vamos fazer a massa folhada do zero. Depois de preparar o creme, finalizamos os pastéis num forno profissional. Durante a aula, trabalhamos juntos como uma equipa. Todos poderão fazer pelo menos 3 pastéis à mão - aprenda a laminar a massa, abri-la com uma técnica específica do Pastel de Nata, rechear com o creme, etc. O resultado final será um delicioso esforço colaborativo. Faremos a primeira parada no Pena Park and Palace, nos conectando com a natureza com uma caminhada suave no parque até o palácio. Em seguida, exploraremos os terraços, a arquitetura e a história mais belos do Palácio da Pena. Para nós, o mais bonito é o ar livre e não planejamos visitar os quartos no interior. Por volta da hora do almoço, vamos parar no Centro Histórico de Sintra, perto do Palácio Nacional Medieval de Sintra. Também visitaremos a mística Quinta da Regaleira, um parque cenográfico que o convida para uma jornada de iniciação simbólica. Vamos explorar fontes, cavernas, o Poço da Iniciação, um labirinto de túneis secretos e o Palácio. Ao longo das caminhadas, compartilharemos todo o nosso amor por esta montanha, dando-lhe uma fonte confiável de informações e conhecimento local. A "cereja no topo" desta viagem de um dia é a parada no oceano no Cabo da Roca, descobrindo alguns dos segredos da costa ao longo do caminho. This experience is designed to make you time-travel back to the early ages of photography. You’ll have your portrait made through one of the oldest photography processes: wet plate collodion and will have the chance to experience the whole process of development. This immersive experience will be held at FIVE HISTORIC PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO, which itself is equipped with antique cameras, and furniture, alongside some literature on 19th century Photography, all for your edification. The Studio’s expertise lies in the use of 19th century photography technique Wet Plate Collodion, invented by Frederick Scott Archer in 1851. This particular technique creates unique images, reminiscent of a distant past. You will have the chance to choose the material in which the portrait will be made - clear glass or aluminium- and choose from one of 3 different sizes. Some 19th century clothes and props will be available for the portrait session. In addition to being an extremely interesting process, you will have the opportunity to follow the hosts to the laboratory/dark-room to experience/see the whole development process. Your portrait will be ready to be delivered in 60 minutes. Other things to note By default the price includes an aluminum plate in the smallest size. If the guest want a different size or material, the difference should be paid at the studio.

Caminhar pelas ruas medievais de Sintra e visitar o parque natural Sintra/Cascais onde irá apreciar a sua fauna rara, as árvores únicas, ver o Castelo dos Mouros, a Quinta da Regaleira e os vários chalés ao longo da estrada e terminar no ponto mais ocidental de toda a Europa, o Cabo da Roca. No final do dia e mais do que uma experiência, leva recordações de uma Vila romântica inesquecível! *O local de recolha/largada é na estação de comboio de Sintra (estação terminal); **Os horários são meramente uma previsão do tempo dentro dos monumentos; ***O condutor estará à porta a sua espera. If so, this is the experience to book :) Our adventure Route: • Starting at Time Out Market in Lisbon, we will drive you to the village of Sintra, whose romantic architecture and royal palaces have been declared UNESCO world heritage site. • Visit to REGALEIRA, the #1 attraction of Sintra, an magical palace with big gardens full of mysteries! • After Regaleira, we will head to a tradicional portuguese restaurant in a small village. You can expect a super fun lunch with fresh fish or delicious meat and lots of portuguese wine! (15€-25€ with everything included) • We'll be back on the road passing through dense forests to the Peninha Sanctuary from the 17th century. Built 500 meters above sea level, from here you will have a 360 degree view of the forest, the atlantic, Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais. BRING YOUR CAMERA, the landscapes of this tour are BREATHTAKING!
