In Nara Park, beside the crowded and busy Todaiji-big Buddha (600 yen entrance fee), a few people visit Nigatsudo Hall on the hill. This is because the view from the Nigatsu-do hall is breathtakingly beautiful. But you've got to ride your bicycle up there, so it's a little bit of exercise. Hi. I am Helen Jeongju Kim. In this workshop, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You will create a design using your name. During this activity, your mind will relax and you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. I will teach you how to design and carve your name with a engraving knife on a small stone. First, I shows two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrates how to carve with a carving knife.(straight line, circle, etc.) Then I helps you learn to hold the engraving tool and practice properly. Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name. You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp. Once the engraving is over, you can choose a elegant case for your stone seal. It will be an opportunity to rethink the meaning of your name that you have forgotten while carving the seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels. I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamp your seal on a postcard I prepare. Public transportation is convenient. Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. I invite you to enter my atelier normally not accessible. A local fluent translator will help me in explaining details about wagashi ingredients, motifs, and technique! First you will learn about basic ingredients, materials and tools for making wagashi using visual chart, and I will demonstrate the basic skills step by step for you to follow and do the same way by modelling, moulding, and shaping your own Japanese sweet. You can learn not only the basic skills of making, but also the beauty of Japanese traditional colours used and how I express seasons in the design of the "sweets". Meet at House of Taste Thai Cooking School in Silom. Discover the nearby market with a guided tour available for the morning class, where you will browse for the freshest ingredients to make your authentic Thai dishes. (There will be "Mango Carving" instead of a market tour for the afternoon and the evening class, the introduction to ingredients will be taken place at school) Learn about various exotic Thai ingredients, including vegetables, rice, herbs, and spices, as well as the preparation of coconut milk and curry paste from scratch. Spend two hours making four delicious dishes, and savor each one individually while they're still hot and fresh. Get your hands dirty by making the curry paste from scratch, and take home all recipes with you so you can recreate the gastronomic experience again in the future.

Experience the barefoot lifestyle and tropical landscape of the Phi Phi Islands in the Andaman Sea on our half day sunset tour. Swim with colorful fish at Loh Samah and Monkey Bay and snorkel among coral gardens. Places we visit during the tour: - Monkey Bay - Viking Cave - Pileh Lagoon - Loh Samah Bay - Maya Bay While on the way back to the meeting point, you can enjoy the sunset. NOTE 1: This tour starts and ends on Koh Phi Phi. It does NOT start from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket. Participants have to travel to Koh Phi Phi by themselves and need to stay at the island for at least 1 night. NOTE 2: This tour is really about swimming, snorkeling and visiting beautiful spots around Koh Phi Phi, not about story-telling. NOTE 3: Phi Phi Islands are part of a National Park. The National Park fee of THB 400 per adult (THB 200 per child) is not included and must be paid cash on day of the experience. IMPORTANT: As per government decision, Maya Bay will be closed for a couple of months every year, so that the area can undergo a period of natural rehabilitation. All the other places in the itinerary will still be accessible during this time, so more time will be spend here for swimming and snorkeling.

[Main activities] Hiking in Busan with a local. Tasting Korean rice wine (Makgeolli) with side dishes (banchan) in a village hidden in an 800m high mountain.
