Located in Matlock Bath (which is definitely worth a visit) it is a bustling, lively pub with good food served daily, a large real ale selection and live music every weekend. Either in the main bar (free) or upstairs in the stunning ballroom. There are also comedy nights and open mic.

The old mill ruins, ponds and waterfalls are a must when staying here. Just a short walk straight from the door. They really are beautiful. And if you head up towards the pinewoods you will catch a fantastic view over the valley.

High Tor is a stunning vantage point, with far-reaching views over the valley and surrounding areas. It is a great way to walk to Matlock Bath. Head down into town, through the park and then up and over High Tor. It is definitely worth the effort.
